Emotional Support:
Good
health for people living with HIV and AIDS is about more than food
and medicine. We must also reach out in an effort of emotional support.
To this end, we provide our clients and their friends and families
with many opportunities for group and individual counseling, socialization,
and one-on-one support and attention.
Support Groups:
Wednesdays:
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm at BAO
Support group for people living with
HIV/AIDS
Last Thursday of every month: 11:30 am - 1:00
pm at BAO
S.I.S - (Sisters in Style) Support group for HIV positive
women meets for lunch and activities
Second Tuesday night of
every month: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at BAO
Friends and Family Night
Dinner and games for consumers and their friends and families
Individual Counseling:
For depression, stress, relationship issues,
loss, anger, fear about the future – appointment required.
