We’re trying to find you for a Research Study!
Have you ever been a patient at UAB’s 1917 Clinic?
Has it been seven months or more since you’ve been?
Are you having trouble keeping your appointments?
If so, we’d like to talk with you about the reasons you are unable to come to the clinic.
You could receive one-on-one assistance connecting to housing and other social services
to help you get back on track and come to your appointments.
If you enroll, you will complete four 1-hour sessions with a researcher over the course of 18 months.
Study blood draws may be required. Free study transportation is provided.
You will be compensated for the researcher sessions, up to $120 total.
The Birmingham Access to Care (BA2C) Study is collaboration of Birmingham AIDS Outreach and the UAB School of Medicine.
Call or text 205.224.3518 or email BA2C@uab.edu to find out if you are eligible.
