About the event

Join Birmingham AIDS Outreach and the Magic City Wellness Center for the History of LGBTQ+ Art in the Birmingham Community. This art exhibit and artist panel will feature numerous exhibits housed throughout the Magic City Wellness Center, showcasing artwork by and of the Birmingham LGBTQ+ community throughout the years. The emcee of the event is Guin Robinson. Panelists include artists: Carolyn Sherer, Sonja Reiger, John Lytle Wilson, and Jon Osborne. The event will be moderated by Graham C. Boettcher, PhD, the R. Hugh Daniel Director of the Birmingham Museum of Art. This project is supported by the Alabama Humanities Alliance, a state affiliate of the National endowment for the Humanities. Light food and drinks will be provided. Free to attend but we ask that you RSVP using the link attached.
