BAO works closely with several partner organizations to ensure that all needs of our clients are met. If you need HIV-related healthcare, please contact one of the following organizations, or ask BAO how to get connected:

 

​BAO’s Magic City Wellness Center (MCWC)

​The mission of the Magic City Wellness Center is to provide wellness and medical care for the LGBTQ community in a safe, welcoming and affirming environment. People living with HIV may seek primary care services at MCWC as long as they are currently receiving care for HIV from an infectious disease specialist, such as the UAB 1917 Clinic.

    • Closed on Fridays and daily from 12:00-12:30 for lunch

UAB’s 1917 Clinic

The 1917 Clinic's mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive healthcare for persons living with HIV.

UAB Family Care

UAB Family and Community Medicine provides a complete range of primary care health services for the entire family. They emphasize a comprehensive approach to medicine, which means they consider the whole person rather than focusing only on a specific problem. They also encourage patients to play an active role in their health care and to take responsibility for their health by forming cooperative relationships with our physicians, nurses, and staff.
